OPERATIONS
- Continuous contact with None Vessel Operation Carriers and/or steamship lines requesting latest status of vessels, managing rollovers, demurrage, and exams
- Researching and securing new bookings for cancelled, delayed, re-routed, and postponed vessels
- Updating customers as well as overseas agents with revised sailings and other updates
- Remanifesting for steamship lines
- Operations teams chasing steamship lines to finalize payments and sending Telex release timely
- Handling payments of exams charges
COORDINATORS/SALES/MANAGERS
- Follow up with Operations for final charges from steam shipment for rollovers, demurrage, and exams
- Notify/bill client for rollovers, demurrage, and exams
- Providing supporting documents to client from steamship line for customs exams
- Continuous tracking and updating clients and Industry Software
WAREHOUSE
- Space availability – warehouses at capacity, space management
- Extra handling – bringing shipments in and out of storage – managing additional warehouse crew assignments
- Extra Storage having to hold the customers’ shipments – managing, securing and scheduling dispatch times due to driver and truck shortages
- Extra container handling, holding and storage at our warehouses
Applicable Schumacher Cargo Logistics, Inc. Administration Fees;
Export Shipments – $125.00 per consolidated shipment & $175.00 per FCL or Airfreight
Import Shipments – $55.00 per consolidated shipment & $125.00 per FCL or Airfreight
